"I am smart & misunderstood

I wonder where I'm gonna be in five years.

I hear the hands clapping of my play

I see my dad in the clouds

I want to be happy

I am smart & misunderstood

I pretend to be a star

I feel sad & happy

I touch a pen & write what I feel

I worry bout failing my dreams

I cry when I think about my dad & moving

I am smart & misunderstood

I understand that things change

I say I'm gona be okay

I dream I'm with my dad

I try to think positive

I hope I'll be thankful

I am smart & misunderstood"
